My Story

The Spark at the Start

My journey with metal began at sixteen. I was fortunate to attend a public high school with a rare metalsmithing program. Under the guidance of a wonderful art teacher who even cast our wax creations in her own home, I fell in love with the transformative art that is jewelry making. That early introduction into the world of metallic sculpture led me to AP 3D Art, where my focus on capturing the organic forms of the natural world first took root.

An Analytical Alignment

After high school, my curiosity shifted from the artistic to the analytical. I earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and spent eight years working in diverse laboratories and manufacturing facilities across Florida—from food testing to paper research and development.

While looking at the world through instrumentation was deeply rewarding, I missed working with my hands to create what I imagined. Those eight years weren’t a detour; they became foundational to my craft. Chemistry taught me to respect material properties, understand precision, and look at the underlying structures of the world around me with an analytical eye.

From analytical eye to artisan fire

In early 2022, the creative pull caught up with me. I made the leap to merge my professional life with my creative side. I began formal jewelry design education at the American School of Jewelry. Shortly after, I founded my studio.

Today, my background in science and my love for the natural world converge. The coastal landscapes and botanical shapes that inspire me are filtered through an analytical lens—balancing organic fluid shapes with structural precision. Every piece is an exploration of that convergence, designed to be both elegant and enduring.
